Armored Combat
THL Brian mac Griogair mhic Eoin has developed three activities for armored combat at Jour d'Amour.
1. Battle of Legnano melee based on the May 29, 1176, battle between the Holy Roman Empire and the Lombard League.
2. Battle of Grunwald melee based on the 1410 battle between the Kingdom of Poland with the Grand Duchy of Lithuania against the German-Prussian Teutonic Knights.
3. Tournaments featuring a) single sword and shield, b) single sword only, and c) polearm.
Rapier Combat
THL Elijah Cameron has two rapier scenarios for JdA.
1. For the entire day, a dueling game will be played in a round robin format.
2. In the afternoon, there will be a tavern brawl.
Rapier authorization by THL Cameron will be available in the morning.
